Book Giveaway: Kaimira The Sky Village by Monk and Nigel Ashland

Last week I reviewed Kaimira: The Sky Village by Monk and Nigel Ashland. This week, I'm giving my readers a chance to win an advanced reading copy of The Sky Village, the first of five books in this new young adult series. I'll be choosing a winner for this book on August 6th at 9 PM EST.

  2. Lenore: I'm a real sucker for dystopian themes. Have you read Little Brother by Cory Doctorow? It's being billed as a modern, teen version of 1984. I loved 1984 so it's pretty high on my TBR pile.

  8. Ha - I just read Little Brother last week and my review will go up today sometime. I did like it - in fact I stayed up pretty much all night to finish it - it was that exciting.

    Cynthia: Which one are you reading, Comfort Food or The Friday Night Knitting Club? I picked up the latter because I'm a knitter, and, well, all that pretty yarn on the cover was calling my name. It's not the type of book I usually read, but it wasn't bad.

    Shana: Thanks! Yep, I did the new site design myself. I was thinking about hiring someone, but I have a decent knowledge of HTML and Paint Shop Pro, so I decided to see what I could do. I'm pretty happy with the results.
